한국생물공학회는 2025년 KSBB 40주년 국제행사를 학회 국제기구인 Asian Federation Of Biotechnology (AFOB, 아시아생물공학연합체) 주최 국제행사인 The Asian Congress on Biotechnology (ACB)와 공동으로 2025년 9월 23일(화)부터 27일(토)까지 그랜드하얏트 인천 (Gala Dinner : 인스파이어리조트)에서 "KSBB-ACB Conference 2025" 로 개최할 예정입니다.
본 행사를 위해 KSBB와 AFOB는 2024년 6월 30일부터 7월 3일까지 네덜란드 로테르담에 위치한 De Doelen International Congress Center에서 개최되는 The European Congress on Biotechnology 2024 (ECB 2024)에서 홍보부스 및 Korea Night를 진행할 예정입니다.
ECB는 전 세계의 주요 대표 과학자, 연구원, 학계 인사 및 산업계 관계자들이 참여하는 생명공학 분야의 대표 국제 행사입니다. 또한 이번 ECB는 2012년 한국, 대구에서 개최된 바 있는 국제 순수 및 응용 화학 연합(IUPAC) 주최의 IBS도 동시 개최될 예정으로 학회 회원분들께서는 ECB2024, IBS2024에 적극적으로 참여하셔서 산업계, 학계, 연구소, 그리고 국가 기관들 간의 긴밀한 연구 교류가 되시길 바랍니다.

The European Congress on Biotechnology 2024 will be held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, at the De Doelen International Congress Center, from 30 June to 3 July 2024. The theme for the 2024 Congress will be “Grand Challenges for Biotechnology: Health; Food Security; and Global Warming”

In addition, a discount of 10% on Standard and Academia registration fees is available for Institutional Members of the EFB, AFOB and NBV.
The venue is situated in the centre of Rotterdam opposite the Central train station, which offers international direct trains from Belgium, France, the UK and Germany. Moreover, the city is just 26 minutes away from a key international hub, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
